If you have read through the information on each of the three systems and still feel none of them will work for you please give us a call and we will see if we can help plan a system that will work for you. All three systems can be adapted in many ways to use in almost any location. Back to top
- How do I plan a system?
In the case of the In-Wall and On-Wall systems take an inventory of the canned foods you have on hand. Determine how many of each kind you would like to store. Use the information under PRICING to determine how many of each type of channel you will need. Often your needs will fit into the parameters of one or more of the kits so you can receive a discount. If not and you are making an order of 10 channels or more we can offer the same discount. Your Pharaoh’s Storehouse system can be built all-at-once or done in increments. Back to top

- What if I don’t want to store six, seven or eight cans of the same thing in the can dispensing channels?
You can store a combination of canned food in one channel. Everyone has one or two cans of various foods. You may have to pull and restack a few cans until you get to the can you want but when you walk away your cans will still be stacked and visible to ensure they aren’t lost in the cupboard. - What are the Pharaoh’s components made of?
Depending on the part, they are made of 16-gauge or 18-gauge galvanized (rust-proof) steel. Back to top
- Is galvanized steel the only finish?
No, the various components can be powder coated in a color of your choice. Powder coating provides a very attractive, durable finish. We leave this step up to the customer with a powder coater of his or her choice and estimate the cost to be between $5.00 and $7.00 per component. Back to top
- How long can I store commercially canned foods?
Many canned foods have an expiration date stamped on the lid. Otherwise, we recommend using any canned food within two years of the purchase date. Since all cans are automatically rotated in the Pharaoh’s Storehouse Systems with the newest going in on the top and the oldest being used first from the bottom outdated or spoiled food is less likely. - What if your existing dispensing channels don’t dispense some of the canned foods I store?
We offer a metal divider with a magnetic strip that may be installed in our CH-005, CH-006 or CH-007. It comes backed with a magnetic strip and may also be fastened with screws. Now the CH-005 will cycle 2 rows of the smaller pineapple cans. The CH-006 will cycle 2 rows of smaller cans. It will not cycle two rows of tomato sauce or mandarin oranges etc... but will cycle a tomato sauce can and a smaller can like those that hold green chilies. The CH-007 will cycle two rows of the larger tuna, water chestnut or chicken cans. The divider could also be used to “shrink” the width of any other channel if needed. For instance, Mandarin oranges in the smaller can are the same depth as the cans that fit into CH-001 but are narrower and will turn as they cycle down. The divider would eliminate this problem. - Isn’t the cavity inside the Lazy Susan wasted space?
When you can place four cases of canned foods on a Lazy Susan and not lose one when the Susan spins we don’t consider it wasted space. However, if you want to utilize that space we can tell you how to leave two dispensing channels off the Lazy Susan when it is assembled. The screws will need to be covered and then you will be able to use the interior space. Back to top
- Can I use Pharaoh's Storehouse Systems to store anything other than canned food?
Yes.Although the systems weren't designed to stack and store anything else we have found that they do. For instance, our tuna channel (CH-003) can be used to hold small boxes of jello. Our CH-005 stacks the larger jello boxes and CH-007 can be used to hold packages of Ramen Noodles in place. You can even store the 14 oz. jars of peanut butter in the CH-006 as long as the jars are plastic. Of course, most of the above are not as easily removed from the channnels as cans but the products are always visible, automatically rotated and stay stacked! Back to top
- Can I install an On-Wall system on a concrete wall?
Can I install an On-Wall system on a concrete wall? Yes you can. However, if you install everything directly into the concrete the drilling requirements to install the system will be harder to accomplish. It is much easier to drill into wood so some customers have securely fastened a 3/4" piece of plywood to the cement and then installed their system on the plywood. Back to top
